Jolie Kay graced us with her presence Friday morning (2/26) at 7:07 AM. She weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces, and was 19 and 1/2 inches long. We went in Thursday night at 9 pm, Lindsay was given Cytotek at 10, her water broke at 1 AM, epidural in around 3 AM, and by 7:07 Jolie was here! We had a great nurse that night, Julie, who pulled me aside at probably 11 pm and said this is going to happen quick. Not wanting to jinx anything, this is the first I've mentioned that little prediction. Lindsay was absolutely awesome, inspirational for me to watch her go through that. She didn't complain once and when it was time to push, she stepped up to the plate big time. I've never been so proud of her.
Jolie is the most beautiful baby we've ever seen, and already has a little personality we are in love with. We've known her for 36 hours, (most of which Linds and I have been awake for), and in that time has managed to wrap two parents, four grandparents, three uncles, and one aunt around her tiny fingers. But enough of me blabbing along, heeeeeeeeeere's Jolie!!!!
