Did you want some cheese to go with my whine?

Here is a picture of the ONLY shoes I have left that are even close to fitting me. The tennis shoes can no longer be tied and my other shoes are my 'work shoes' and they are leaving marks on my feet because they are so squished! Argh!

I had to get these awhile ago and they are two sizes bigger than what I normally wear. I was excited about this because I've been stuck in a barely size 5, which is considered kids size. I've always had a really hard time finding work shoes because they only made them in Barbie styles and ridiculousness like that. Sure they were cheaper than adult shoes, but not exactly professional looking. So a few months ago when my shoes first started getting tight, I was pretty excited to get some 'grown up' shoes!

But enough is enough! My feeties have gotten too fat!! And I'm refusing to buy anymore because I wouldn't even be wearing them that long! Not to mention the beating they've received from all the snow and salt! Grrrr! Although I'm glad its not summer time because I would not want these chubby toes to be seen in sandals--and they'd probably be even bigger if it was hot out! So thank you horrible Iowa winter for keeping my feet from ever being hot.

And in case you aren't in the great state of Iowa, you may have missed the news story about us just breaking into the Top Ten Worst Winters of All Time! We also continue to break the record for the most consecutive days with over 5 inches of snow of the ground--it's over 50 days and still counting!

We also got to pick up our rental car and had to drop of our CR-V to get fixed from our weekend accident. They gave us a Toyota Corolla which I nearly managed to get stuck in a drift in our driveway. So I'm really loving this stupid Iowa winter, the stupid snow, and the stupid rental car that I'm pretty sure just got recalled. And I miss my Honda! I love that thing! It drives great, it has amazing remote start that works from my desk at work and the repair shop said they are packed right now with all sorts of winter accidents so it may be awhile. NO! Sorry for the run on sentences with this last part--I'm sure you can imagine how much fun Josh is having right now, right? Well I'm going to go eat something and make mad faces for awhile.
