Maternity Pictures and Family Photos
We got our maternity and family pictures back. We took Petey along (you know, since he's in our family) and OH MY GOODNESS was he difficult! He was trying to cling to me the entire time and decided to take a dump while we were there too! Hopefully we'll be allowed to come back for our newborn pictures after that fiasco. And if we bring Petey back, I need to give him some puppy chill pills or something!

One month till due date! (and pity party, table for one)
I know the chances that you actually have your baby on your due date are pretty rare, but Tuesday was one month till our due date! Josh was a sweetie as always and sent some flowers to my cube! It was so cute and much appreciated!
And all of a sudden, I've gone from feeling large to RIDICULOUS! I've been having lots of swelling and I had no idea my ankles/legs/feet could get to the sizes they've been getting to! Grossest thing ever! So by the time I get home from work, I'm kind of a lazy bum, but Josh is awesome as usual and has been taking great care of his super dramatic and whiny wife.
We started the once-a-week doctor appointments this week too, so it's getting closer. I asked how much past the due date they allow you to go and my doctor said two weeks! Not the answer I wanted to hear (I was thinking like one hour) but what I figured. So by my calculations, we will have a baby no later than March 11, not that I'm counting or anything. One of my doctor is also big on high fives, like every time we're done with our appointment, he says 'Alright-high five!' It's getting hard to take him seriously! :) He also mentioned that the heartbeat sounded like a boy. Well that's just what a crazy, over-preparing, pregnant chick needs to hear! But I'm still confident its a girl since we've seen it on two ultrasounds. Otherwise, I have a ton of receipts I need to find!

Happy Birthday Petey!
Petey is 3 today! He celebrated with a spa day and a trip to Dairy Queen for a puppy cup. The scariest thing...the people at Dairy Queen knew he got a hair cut today. I think we may go there a little too often!

Yesterday I didn't have to work due to our crazy ice storm. So I decided to perfect my movie making skills so maybe we'll be decent by the time the little one arrives and attempted to try to make a couple of videos.

Welcome!
Well, we decided to pull the nerd card and start a blog to keep all of you updated on the latest Baby Buechler happenings. With all of our family being spread out all over, hopefully this will help us all stay in touch, or at the very least provide you with a little distraction from the rest of your day.
We got a Flip Camera over the holidays and Josh is having way too much fun making movies and is already planning for baby videos. We thought this would be great way to show them to you and pictures too! Hopefully, we'll get some up soon of the baby's room. We also did some maternity pictures over the weekend so we can't wait to get those too! Stay tuned!
