Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year! Countless parties, a trip to South Dakota, and of course lots and lots of presents! Here's a little recap...
Jolie's firs time writing her name! Pretty close!

After Jolie's first Christmas program!

In Sioux Falls, we celebrated all of the kids's birthdays since they're all within a few months, special thanks to a couple nana's for organizing this!

Jolie with her cousins on the Pedersen side!

Super bolwer!

Nana B made a special fairy dress for Jolie that she wears just about every day. It seems to leave glitter everywhere....thanks Nana :-)

Jolie and Kayden

Back home, mommy and Jolie did some crafts!

Had to try the frosting!

What a great Christmas! Thanks to everyone who was a part of it!

Fall Fun!

A lot of these pictures were taken with Papa and Nana Buechler a few weekends ago. We had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch!

The end of our summer has flown by, we made a trip to South Dakota, had a dance recital and enjoyed the nice weather we had!

Summer fun!

We've all been busy this summer. Most of our time not at work/sleeping is outdoors/trying to wear out Jolie!
We hijacked Papa Dibbern's gator to drive around the countryside

We started a dance/gymnastics combo class! Someone was just a little excited

Where did spring go?

Hope everyone is doing well. Jolie is keeping us busy. We have a lot to look forward to this summer. Lots of going to the pool, playing outside, and maybe even starting gymnastics are all in the works!
We decorated easter eggs!

Jolie went to Papa and Nana Buechler's house in Iowa! We dug out Ali's old doll house that Grandpa PJ made for her! Still in great shape!

Being a goof

We kept postponing Jolie's 3 year old pictures to try to get a nice day to do them outside, the winter kept going and going.  We finally did them in April but it ended up being a pretty windy day!

Turning 3 and other fun things

So our big girl turned 3 on February 26th! All of her nanas, papas, uncles, aunts and friends came to celebrate with Jolie by going bowling. Yes, bowling. She loves it. We don't have any video or photo evidence because the only people who took pictures were those who live far away from Kearney but we may be able to wrangle some of these up soon.
So here are some fun photos since she's turned 3!
She loves to paint! Bright colors are her favorite

\
Papa and nana Buechler got her a sandwich kit! She loves making daddy peanut butter, pickle, onion and bacon sandwiches!

Papa and nana Dibbern got back from Hawaii and brought Jolie some island gear! This is how she prefers to be dressed most evenings

Photo Update

The one bad thing about February being a shorter month is that is FLIES by!  We're still getting over the fact that January is over, and now half of February is too!  We haven't been up to much so here's a few random pictures. They are always more fun anyway! :)
Jolie in the tub.  Right after this she said 'mommy, I peed in the tub!'  Super!  Jolie is super stubborn so potty training is not going well and won't until JOLIE decides it's time.

At a UNK basketball game.  Jolie happens to be terrified of their mascot, Louie the Loper, so we didn't even make to halftime due to the 'terror.'

Jolie's a big help at cleaning.  Here's an action shot of her dusting.

I think we were making banana chocolate chip bread.  She likes bananas, chocolate chips and the batter.  However, she will not eat the actual banana bread after it's cooked.

Jolie has been really into building forts in our living room.

Valentine's Day sugar high!!!!

This is Jolie's BFF Reagan.  Jolie thinks Reagan is the coolest person ever and loves to do whatever Reagan is doing.  Then she usually cries for about 20 minutes every time we leave because she doesn't want to go.

So fancy in in their princess dresses.  Jolie just stripped down the minute we got there to prep for all the princess gowns!

Christmas!

Jolie had a great Christmas this year (as I'm sure you can imagine, she got pretty much everything she wanted). We got to visit Great Grandparents in Scotland, see both papas and nanas and all her uncles and aunts, and cousins! The Christmas season FLEW by, here's a few pictures to recap.
Getting ready to set up the tree. Picking out the prettiest ornaments!

Jolie was very particular about the placement of each one.
